Landers Looking forward to the Sevens!
Cork 1999 All-Ireland winning captain Mark Landers is eagerly looking forward to Saturday’s Meteor Kilmacud Crokes All-Ireland Hurling Sevens.
Currently managing his home club Killeagh Mark says “The Sevens is always a great day’s hurling. You only have to look at the recent winners (Portumna, Sarsfields and Erins Own for example ) to see Its an extremely tough competition to win. Speed and skill are at a premium. We’ll be giving it our best shot and are in a tough group with Boherlaan Dualla, Burgess and Carnmore. Over the years Tipperary and Galway teams have specialised in the Sevens.”
