All Weather Training Pitch at Glenalbyn

 

The redevelopment of the Paddock to an All Weather Training Pitch including floodlights, fencing and netting has been complete for some time. Demand for training slots on the facility is huge and much use has been made of this great facility.

The positive impact the facility will have on the club is immeasurable and it will form one part of the club’s effort to meet the demands placed on it by the huge growth in player numbers over recent years, which now sees us field 80 teams every year.  See information brochure below for further details.

 

The provision of the facility was an expensive exercise and the Hurling Section urges all connected with the club to support the ongoing funding effort, in particular the two-year Funding Development Scheme.  This costs €29.20 per month or a one off contribution of €700.  This includes a €500 contribution to the development and €200 covering a two year period for Club Lotto\Loyalty Card Scheme.  The latter has been hugely successful for many members in recovering the full cost of the Scheme and, as we are an approved sports body, Tax Relief is available.
