Welcome to the VW7s from Kilmacud Crokes 

After a dramatic Penalty shootout against hosts Kilmacud Crokes, St. Galls were crowned 2016 VW7s Champions at Glenalbyn!


Its all over and it ends in disappointment for the host team. They loose out in the penalty shoot out to St Galls. Well done to St Galls and commiserations to a worthy Crokes team who did the club proud getting to the final of the inaugural VW7's.  Thanks to all who came and supported the event and made it such a great occasion. Well done to all the teams involved and to the Crokes 7's organising committee under the leadership of Dr Pat Duggan. Great job by all the officials. Thanks also to our new sponsor VW.


Another penalty shoot out - final ends in a draw - Crokes 3g 6pts to St Galls 1g 12pts


Half time in a tense final see's the Local Boys Crokes with a narrow 1 pt lead - 1g 4pts to St Galls 6 pts. 


Not long now - 25 minutes to throw in for the final. Come on down to club and enjoy the action. Great crowd for the 1st VW7's.  Great standard of football on display at the moment by under age players from Crokes, Olaf's and Ballinteer.


We now know who the local team will play in the final. St Galls beat Carbury on a score of  14pts to 1g 9pts

Crokes will play St Galls in the Final of the inaugural VW7's at 6pm in Glenalbyn - come on down and enjoy the action

Before that we will have 2 under age exhibition games between Ballinteer St Johns and Kilmacud Crokes and St Olaf's and KIlmacud Crokes.

Kilmacud Crokes through to the Final of the VW7's - beating Bellaghy by 4g 9pts to 10 pts

Half time in 1st Semi final - Kilmacud Crokes Lead Bellaghy by 2g 4pts to 5pts. Some great scoring by both teams.

Leixlip versus St Galls goes to penalties with St Galls winning  out on penalties

Carbury now play St Galls in our 2nd semi final at 4:30

Good win for Crokes in their 1st round game over Claremorris - late goal by Calum Pearson sealed the result at 3g 9pts to 2g 10pts - Might be a good omen for one of these team's counties in the Big game tomorrow

Good Morning from the VW 7s. The stage is set, the pitches are in great condition, footballs are at the ready, players and referees are arriving, the flags are being raised and the sun is shining !
