Páraic McDonald
Páraic McDonald, who hails from Castleblayney in County Monaghan, has been a full-time coach for over 20 years. He played both hurling and football with Castleblayney Faughs, winning 7 senior championships and an Ulster club championship with the club. Páraic also represented Monaghan in hurling at Minor level and at U21 and Senior Level in Football.
He has been working with Kilmacud Crokes since 2000 as a full time coaching director. He has also been involved with Dublin Football Development squads, managing and coaching Dublin Minor teams in that code in 2002, 2006, 2013 and in 2014.
Niall Corcoran
Niall Corcoran started working as a Gaelic Games Promotion Officer with Kilmacud Crokes in 2005 and joined the Kilmacud Crokes Senior Hurling team in 2008. He played with the team until recently and was a Senior inter-county player with Dublin for several years.
His role within the club is to support all coaches working at child, youth and adult level, through specifically planned courses and workshops, incorporating recognised principles of best practice in the field of coaching. "My job is also about promoting & developing GAA Sports & Kilmacud Crokes within the local primary & secondary schools, through assisting and advising teachers on coaching activities", explains Niall.
