Winning start in AFL1 for Senior Footballers v Boden
Kilmacud Crokes narrowly pip Boden in first game since All Ireland Final victory.
Following all the recent excitement of the All Ireland club Championship victory, it was back to business this morning for the Senior Footballers, when they took on Ballyboden St Endas in their first league match of the new season. In a very tight game Crokes came away with the narrowest of winning margins, the game finishing 1-13 to 1-14 to the visitors.
Prior to the game the Ballyboden team very sportingly formed a guard of honour and clapped the Crokes players onto the Pairc Uí Mhurchú pitch, in recognition of their recent All Ireland success.
