Click here to see images of the visit to Scoil San Treasa! While we may have to wait another three weeks for the special visitor in a red suit, Scoil San Treasa Mount Merrion had some early Christmas visitors on December 1st in the form of Michael Fennelly (Kilkenny hurling captain 2009) and Darran O' Sullivan (Kerry Football captain 2009).The two players mingled with staff and pupils alike. The Liam McCarthy and Sam Maguire cups were also present on the day.

Various children throughout the school interviewed these top players in the search for valuable advice and tips. Photographs were taken with each class grouping and everything from scraps of paper to calendars were signed.

On behalf of all in Scoil San Treasa we would like to thank Ulster bank for giving us this opportunity to meet with Michael & Darren. We would like to recognise the efforts of the Healy & Gallagher family in securing the visit of these two outstanding players.

To Michael and Darren we say “Go raibh míle maith agat for taking time out of your day to visit us here in Scoil San Treasa. Both of you are fantastic ambassadors for our national games.
