Heavy rain in the run up made underfoot conditions greasy but Silverpark 1 was otherwise in splendid condition for Wednesday evening’s (21st July 2010) under 16 Division 1 top of the table clash with Whitehall Colmcilles. 

 

By the twentieth minute the Kilmacud boys had built up a 2-4 to 0-3 lead.  Then the visitors staged a mini revival before two Crokes goals helped the home lads to a 4-8 to 1-4 interval lead.  In the second half Crokes maintained their ascendancy and came through 4-13 to 2-6. 

 

Among the more prominent for the victors were Conor Sweeny, in goal, Daibhid Corish, Andre Colclough, Mark Collins, Caolan Conway, Neil Gorey and Ross McGowan.
