Stars of The Future Shine in Silverpark

What started out as a beautiful sunny morning soon turned to a downpour of rain but this did nothing to dampen the dedication and spirit of the Kilmacud Crokes under 10 hurlers! They were at Silver Park on Sunday 3rd April 2011 to put on a half time display during the Senior Hurlers League Match V Craobh Ciaran.

In what was a master class in efficiency, mentors had over 30 boys on the pitch as soon as the half time whistle went where a very enjoyable game of hurling was played. The boys then stayed on to watch the senior game and were rewarded with a number of superb goals by the Crokes team. A group photo and a chance to chat to the senior team topped off the day for the boys and Kilmacud Crokes can be assured of some very strong, dedicated hurlers coming up through the club. Thanks to all the parents involved.
