On Wednesday 11th May the 2011 senior, intermediate and junior A championship first rounds threw in.  Crokes were away in all three. 

 

At Tymon Park North the seniors eked out an 0-14 to 1-10 win thanks to an injury time point from substitute Jude Sweeny in their SHC ‘A’ Group 1 round-robin clash.  The visitors were six points down with fifteen minutes to go and got the last seven points without reply.  Faughs led 0-6 to 0-4 at the break.  Among Crokes better perfomers were Jack Doughan, Sean McGrath, Barry Mulligan and Barry O'Rorke.

The inters visit to Clondalkin paid off with a 3-15 to 0-12 win over Round Towers.  Islandbridge did not prove so hospitable for the junior A's where they lost by five points to Civil Service, having led by the minimum at the break.
