The 48th Beacon Hospital All Ireland Hurling 7s took place on Saturday 16th July. After a three year absence due to Covid 19 it was great to be back - and we were blessed with great weather and some very exciting action!
Senior Final win for Lisdowney
In the Senior Final it required extra time to separate the eventual winners Lisdowney (Kilkenny) and O'Tooles (Dublin), with the Kilkenny side winning out by 5-12 to 4-14.
Shield Final won by Cuchallains
Cuchullains beat Eoghan Ruadh by 1-09 to 2-05
Under 14s Final
The Under 14's final saw Athenry beat De La Salle by 3-08 to 1-02
Craughwell take U12s title
In a very close and exciting game, a determined Craughwell beat Monaleen by the narrowest of margins, in a game with ten goals. Craughwell won by 5-04 to 5-03.
