Excellent resolve by Junior A's to overcome half time deficit

Kilmacud welcomed table toppers St. Brigids to Silver Park on a perfect evening for hurling. Brigid's raced out of the blocks and led by 1-02 to 0-1 after the initial exchanges. The visitors work rate and movement was causing problems for the home team. A well worked goal finished off by Barry Horan settled Kilmacud and edged them back into the game. The visitors let by two points at half time on a scoreline of 1-6 to 1-4.

A high scoring second half of a hard fought and keenly contested game saw the home team win out by a margin of four points in the end. Richie Power goaled from a near in free and converted a number of crucial long range efforts. Although there were a number of strong individual performances this was a real team victory and sets up the home team for the league run in.
