14 Man Minor A's overcome Vincent's in MHL1

Building on recent excellent performances the Kilmacud Crokes Minor A team had a deserved victory against their Northside rivals St Vincent’s at a sunny Páirc de Burca on Sunday morning.   Dominating from the start Crokes were 6 points to the good half way through the first half. St Vincent’s were struggling to stay with the pace set by the Crokes lads and their goal was leading a charmed life. The Northside lads however clawed their way back in the second quarter and two late goals saw them a point up at the half time whistle.

St Vincents dominated the exchanges in the first quarter of the second half but the Crokes lads were not going to be second best on this day. Showing great skill and effort the Minors came with a late flourish and a great late goal sealed a deserved victory.   Credit to both teams for an entertaining and exciting encounter.

A great start to a sunny Sunday.
