U12s win another trophy on their travels!

Crokes u12s had another great win on the road last Saturday July 5th in Sixmilebridge. The lads had 2 good wins against Newmarket and Fergus and Sixmilebridge in the group stages and progressed to play the other Sixmile team in the final. The Crokes boys had the upper hand after a strong second half display. Brian Hayes was presented with the Johnny Flynn memorial trophy on behalf of the team. All credit to Sixmilebridge who were able to field 2 strong teams for the blitz. The home team mentor had huge praise for the high level of hooking, blocking and fielding from the Dubs. Many thanks to all in Sixmilebridge for the warm hospitality and the excellent hurling!
