A BLOOMIN GREAT NIGHT AT STRICTLY COME DANCING!

We've had some great nights in Kilmacud Crokes but last night's "Strictly" event in Leopardstown Pavilion must be as good, if not better, than any! A great cause; wonderful (and brave!) club volunteers; excellent organising committee; brilliant technical/creative production; glamorous judges; elegant patrons; a wonderful MC in Mick Garry and ceol agus craic go leor! The venue was top-class and the many hundred attendees all had smiles on their faces - what a night. The superlatives run out really! Suffice it to say the night was an outstanding success both as a fundraiser for the Baby Max fund ( www.babymax.ie ) and as a social event par excellence for Kilmacud Crokes. Our brand new Strategic Plan must have a great chance of success after this wonderful, collaborative club effort!
For the record, the official winners were Paula King of Tamem Michael Bridal & Evening wear and her dancing partner, Brendan Kennedy from Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club. The large attendance however felt that ALL the dancers involved were winners on the night - take a bow!
You can get more details of the event at the Facebook link from this web-site and other channels but, for now, enjoy these images of the night (click on Geraldine O'Callaghan's bloomers below if the slideshow doesn't appear automatically)
