Inters Also Top Championship Group

In our last round robin championship match against Commercials at Silverpark on Wednesday 20th July the Crokes intermediate hurlers came away with a victory on a scoreline of 4-17 to 0-6. This leaves us winners of the group on score difference as we await our opponents in the quarter-final due to be played on August 27th.

Whatever doubt there was was settled on the stroke of half time when a Donal McGovern goal ended a Crokes scorefree period and sent us in at half time leading 2-5 to 0-2 with the wind advantage to come. In the second half we continued the good form and finished comfortable winners on the above scoreline.  Every player performed with credibility on the nigh.
