Kilmacud Crokes 3-16 -v- St Marks 0-6

This match was played under slippery conditions at Silverpark on Wednesday evening 6th July 2011 but Crokes came out winners by 3 16 to 0 6 and continue their good run in the league. 

 

 

 

Crokes led at half-time by 2-8 to 0-4 and good performances by Alex Pilkington and Alan Tiernan in the early stages of the game set us up nicely for the win.  Also to the fore were Niall Lillis, Ray Mangan and Damien Byrne in a very solid half-back line.  Damien scored 1-3 and we would like to wish him and his new bride our best wishes on their forthcoming marriage.

 

With three games left to play its in our own hands now.  Those games are away against Round Towers (on Monday 11th July), Naomh Olafs (23rd July at home) and table toppers St Vincents scheduled for 13th August at home.
