League Win for Inters

Kilmacud Crokes 2-19 –v- St Vincents 1-10 St Vincents got out of the blocks in good style in this final league match of the season in Pairc Naomh Uinseann on Friday the 20th August 2010. They took the initiative to Crokes in the early stages and led at half time by 12pts to 7 and they deserved their lead. The second half took a different course. Crokes shook off the cobwebs and took the game to Vincents and came out worthy winners in the end on a score line of 2-19 to 1-10. Declan Browne had an excellent game at centre half back and not far behind were Daibhi de Paor, Alan Tiernan, substitute Eddie O’Byrne and Sean Murphy Scorers for Crokes were A Tiernan 1-3, D de Paor 0-7 (3f), B Mulligan 0-5 (2f) 1(65), K Russell 1-0, D Browne 0-2, S Murphy 0-1, K Doherty 0-1.
