Seniors beat St Pats in Championship
On Saturday 18th September 2010 Crokes senior hurlers confirmed their progression to the Dublin senior hurling championship quarter finals with a 1-11 to 0-11 over St Patricks Palmerstown at Glenauline Park.
After twenty minutes, against the already relegation play off bound opposition, the sides were level 0-4 apiece. An unanswered 1-4 made it 1-8 to 0-4 at the interval. While the result was never really in doubt, with fifty five minutes gone the Kilmacud side, having scored just two second half points and holding a 1-10 to 0-10 lead, were vulnerable to a late rally. Fortunately this did not come and in the remaining time the sides exchange points. A considerable improvement will be needed on this form to advance further.
