Seniors Good Run Continues

Saturday evening 25th June 2011 took the Kilmacud Crokes senior hurlers to Blunden Drive for their second AHL1 game of the week.

 

Playing with the aid of a strong breeze, Crokes dominated the half and at the break led 1-9 to 0-3, Kevin O'Loughlin was on fire from the dead ball positions & racked up 4 points along with 1 point from play.   Barry O'Rorke added 1-3 from play while Naomhan O'Reardon contributed 1 point.

 

Click here for images of this matchO'Tooles started strongly in the 2nd half and notched up 1-3 without reply from Crokes to narrow the margin to 3 points, Crokes then took control again with Kevin responding with 2 goals and a point from frees, O'Tooles then scored 2 unanswered points before Barry O'Rorke, Ryan O'Dwyer & Kevin (with a converted free) finished off the scoring for Crokes, the final score 3-13 to 1-8.   This made it two wins from two for the week.

 

Best for Crokes against an opposition that finished with thirteen men were Ross O'Carroll in defence, Naomhan in midfield & Sean McGrath & Barry O'Rorke in attack.
