Kilmacud Crokes GAA are shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Eamonn Prenter. Eamonn’s four children, Grace, Isabelle, Alexandra and Nicholas are all players with the club.

Eamonn hailed from Belfast where he played hurling and football for his home club, Naomh Eanna. He represented Queen’s university on the Sigerson cup team, as well as the Antrim football team. He was also a keen basketballer, having reprented Ireland. His daughter Grace followed his passion and is on a basketball scholarship in the States.

He moved to London in the mid eighties, and played football for Garryowen and London, before returning to Dublin. We send our collective heartfelt sympathies and condolences to all of Eamonn's extended family. May he rest in peace.
