The Kilmacud Crokes community is saddened to hear of the passing of Michael Purcell, Clongour, Thurles.  Michael's grandsons Paraic, Sean and Dara are active members in the club. Paraic plays with the Senior Footballers, while Sean and Dara play with the Senior Hurlers.

We send our condolences and sympathies to Paraic, Sean, Dara and the extended Purcell family at this sad time. May Michael rest in peace.

 

Funeral Details:

The death has occurred of Michael Purcell, Clongour, Thurles and formerly Grawn, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Retired Architect with the Office of Public Works. In his 98th year. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. In the wonderful care of the staff of Padre Pio, Nursing Home, Holycross. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen (née Kealy), brothers and sisters. He will be sadly missed by his adoring family; P.J., Antoinette, Adrian, Cáit, Rosemarie, Fiacre, Dara, Rory, Audrey and Aisling, as well as his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Lil, brother-in-law Albert, nephews, nieces, relatives, former colleagues, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday 1st May from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles on Saturday 2nd May at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's cemetery, Thurles.
