Death Notice Ronan Creaney RIP

It is with enormous sadness that we share the news of the passing of Ronan Creaney.

Ronan was a fabulous man.

A championship winning hurler and footballer. A mentor. A coach. A friend. A clubman through and through. From a family steeped in Gaelic games and in our club.

He had character. Charisma. Energy. A great sense of humour and life. And, above all, a genuine interest in people.

Ronan cared about people. He gave his time. He brought people with him. He was totally committed to the club and everything it stood for.

His friendships crossed generations of teams and players. Across the club. Across the country. Across the world.

He left a massive imprint on everyone who knew him.

This is a devastating loss for his family and for our entire community.

Our thoughts, our love and our deepest sympathy are with Maureen and Sean (2011 Group) , with his parents Sean and Patricia, his sisters Dearbhla and Moninne, his brother Brugha, their children, his wider family, and his many friends and clubmates everywhere.

We have lost one of our own. A great clubman. A great friend. A man full of life who will be very deeply missed.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Funeral arrangements will follow.
