U10's host Toomevara

On Sunday morning the U10's were delighted to be able to host a team from Toomevara who had travelled up for the big game in Croke Park that afternoon. Toomevara had provided a warm welcome to us back in April on the Trip to Tipp and it was an ideal opportunity to return the compliment to our friends from the Premier county.  

On the field of play, the Crokes boys managed to reverse the result of the game back in April and after building up a handsome lead of 2-6 to 0-1 at half time they eventually ran out winners by a score of 3-7 to 0-3.

A big thanks must go to the parents of the U10’s who provided assistance with the food and catering, to Gavin Walsh who kindly arranged access to the bar for us, to John Smith for his general help and assistance on the morning and also to Daphne and Bernie during the week for their help in securing Glenalbyn and its facilities for the fixture.
