Junior E's Account For St Patricks

On a windy Thursday evening 26th May 2011 the Junior E’s came away from Glenauline Park with two AHL8 points after a hard earned victory over St Patricks of Palmerstown.

 

The winners played with a very strong wind in the first half and had a lead of 7 points to 2 at half time. There was a serious improvement in the second half and a really big effort from all the players as Crokes hung on to win by a point, 10 points to 9 points. Three debutants Ciaran McIntyre, Edward Campion and Joe Parker particularly impressed.

 

Best performances came from the spine of the team with Gavin Hyland, Adrian Crean, Simon Rouse, Niall McIntyre, Neale Martin and Shane O’Keeffe with some excellent frees into the wind the best on the night.
