Kilmacud Crokes Under 10 Hurling Tournament – Sunday 9th October.

A fantastic day of hurling was had last Sunday 9th October 2011 at Glenalbyn where Crokes were playing host to many our friends from around the country and county.  Our congratulations to the James Stephens Club (Kilkenny) on winning both the Cup and Shield in what proved to be two very competitive competitions.

 

All three Kilmacud Crokes teams performed brilliantly with the Cup team losing out in the final by the narrowest of margins.  Both Kilmacud Crokes 2 and Kilmacud Crokes 3 produced excellent displays and were perhaps unlucky not to have made it to the shield final.

 

We would like to express our thanks to the following for their part in Sundays Tournament

-          All of the visiting teams and coaches / parents.

-          All those involved in catering for this event.

-          All the Referees / Pitch Co-ordinators / Umpires.

-          Tournament committee.

-          All  the Kilmacud Crokes Players (You did us proud).

-          All the parents and other helpers on the day.
