Senior 2 Hurlers beat Setanta

The Senior 2 Hurlers got off to a bad start to the season when they were well beaten by Whitehall Colmcilles in their first game of the Senior Hurling league on the 2nd Feb 2012 but nevertheless made amends on Sunday 25 February  2012, when they had a good win against Setanta at Ballymun, on a score line of 2-15 to 1-10. The first half was close and Crokes were trailing by 2 points at the intervel. But an excellent second half performance saw Crokes through. Star performers were Eddie O Byrne at midfield and young Tom Clarke, who was very energetic up front and scored 3 great points from play. Not far behind were Alan Tiernan, Niall Lillis, Damian Byrne and Donal Mc Govern.


Scorers for Crokes were Donal mc Govern 1 5(3f) Alan Tiernan 1 3 Tom Clarke 0-03, E O Byrne 0-01,Beara O Leidhin 0-01, S Mc Nicholas 0-01, F Armstrong 0-01(f).
