The 48th Beacon Hospital All-Ireland Hurling 7s takes place on Saturday 16th July 2022.

Glenalbyn was lit up by two very exciting senior semi-finals!
In the first game, it was an all Tipperary affair as Moycarkey Borris took on Portroe.

We were delighted to welcome Sarsfields Hurling Club from Perth, Australia to the Beacon Hospital All-Ireland Hurling 7s.
The team travelled almost 15,000km to take part in the Shield tournament, which is open to teams from non-traditional hurling counties and countries.

Quarter Final 1: Tooreen (Mayo) 3.8 v. Moycarkey Borris (Tipperary) 10.4
Quarter Final 2: Portroe (Tipperary) 7.3 v. St. Finbarrs (Cork) 1.4
Quarter Final 3: Na Fianna (Dublin) 4.10 v. Naomh Barrog (Dublin) 3.11

The boys from the Déise won the inaugural U12 hurling festival after they beat Athenry (Galway) in the final. 8 teams took part in the new initiative with a great sporting atmosphere enjoyed by all during the group stages in UCD.
