Minor Hurling League Division 1

On a sunny Sunday morning (14th March 2010) the Minor A hurlers travelled to play St Vincents in St. Annes Park in the minor A Hurling league. Crokes played with the breeze in the first half and started well however Vincent’s greater physicality in the half back line started to tell as the half went on. Despite Trojan work by our half back line of Stephen Beale, Louis Whelan and Gary Melican the half time score was Vincents 1 7 Crokes 1 1.

During the second half the entire team worked hard and never gave up. Jonathan Hayes came in as a sub and together with Dillon Mulligan and James O’Keeffe worked hard to keep the pressure on Vincents. However Vincents were stronger and pulled away to win by 1 15 to 2 3.
