U13 KC2 lose top of table Div 1 clash away to Na Fianna

Tue 1st June-Albert Park, Glasnevin. KC2, one of our two Div 1 teams, lost out to a strong Na Fianna in a meeting of no's 1 & 2 in the league. The home team built a strong lead early in the first half, controlling centre field and taking several fine points courtesy of some good fielding. Our lads struggled to gain possession and despite creating a few chances only managed a solitary score before half time which saw a score line of 2-09 to 0-01. A huge improvement in work-rate from the Crokes lads in the second half saw a much more even contest with all lines managing to control the ball better and provide some decent supply to our lively forward line. Feargal netted twice and also added three points to Na Fianna's tally of 2-04. This creditable second half display resulted in a final score of 4-13 to 2-04 but a veritable game of two halves.
