U14-A's draw with Na Fianna and B's lose out to Faughs
U14A's
The potential Div 1 title decider vs old rivals Na Fianna was played on the all-weather surface in Bray Emmets folllowing the weather related closure of our home piches. Having traded scores early in the first half we went in trailing by 2-3 to 1-3. An early goal in the second half from Stevie O'Dwyer and points from the same player (free) saw it end up honours even at 2-5 each. Strong performances from Fiachra O'Connor< Conn O'Cleirigh with Tom Fox's late equalizing point one of the highlights
U14B's
In Div 2 on a huge pitch in Tymon Park we struggled to live with a strong Faughs side and went in scoreless to 0-7 at half time. Stout defence from Hugh Campion, Aidan Healy and Louis de Courcy and some fantastic work from Calum Pearson in goals. A much improved second half saw us win much more possession and produced the only goal of the game with Donal Callaghan finishing a great team move. However, points from Joey Dalton, Conor Walsh, Chris Kealy and Calum Pearson were not enough to narrow the margin and Faughs finished winners by 0-15 to 1-4.
