Under 14A's Through To Feile Final
At the end of a very tight 2011 Dublin Feile na nGael semi final, at a windswept Silverpark, the Kilmacud Crokes under 14A's squeezed past a game Cuala on a 1-7 to 1-6 margin.
An early Crokes goal against the breeze seemed to pressage well. Within minutes any preconceptions on the home side were well and truly knocked back as Cuala goaled and pointed. With a few minutes left in the half the visitors were moving better and led 1-5 to 1-2. Crokes pulled one back and were relieved to go in just two in arrears.
A monster free from Dara Butler shortly into the second period brought it to the minimum. Cuala dug in. From there on it was blow for blow with scores at a premium. With a few minutes on the clock the sides were 1-6 apiece and it took a late Stephen O'Dwyer free to edge the Kilmacud lads home.
The final against Na Fianna is scheduled for 3pm in Parnell Park.
