Under 11 Hurlers – Crokes retain the Dermot McNulty Cup

Last Sunday the Under 11 hurlers travelled to the Na Fianna Club to compete in the annual Dermot McNulty Tournament. Crokes had two teams competing in the Cup and Shield competitions respectively. Both teams performed brilliantly winning their way through the group stages to qualify for both Cup and Shield finals. Two fantastic finals were played out with Crokes defeating Eire Og Nenagh in the Cup final and losing out in the shield final to Castleknock. What was most pleasing was the high standard of hurling played by all 26 members of the Crokes panel. We would like to express our gratitude to the Na Fianna Club for hosting us and the hospitality shown to the Crokes boys and the large number of travelling parents.
