Under 11’s Weekend action
Friday:
Travelled to Ballyragget for Group A matches, lost to both O'Loughlins by 0-2 and Dicksboro by 0-2 points in tight, competitive, high scoring games. Did not qualify for Semi finals on Sunday. O'Loughlins drew with 'boro and then won by 0.1 in play-off with 'boro. going forward as group A winners.
Saturday:
Two panels took part in D McNulty Na Fianna tournament (Some players arrived home in 'Crokes gear post 11.30pm, went to bed in hurling gear, got up, had breakfast and onto Na Fianna tournament.)

A thrilling final, will level of skill and determination equal from both teams. The commitment of both sets of backs was reflected in that the only score conceded from play in the final was Stevie O'Dwyers wonder goal, following some great defending, a sequence of ground hurling up the field, finished off with a goal of the highest quality. A big part played by all parents, who contributed throughout the day as medical person, waterboys and girls, score keeper, umpires, linesmen and budding young Brian Cody analysts.
Dermot McNulty Memorial Shield-Na Fianna, Glasnevin 28th June 2008
Crokes other panel narrowly lost out in low scoring games in both their first games vs Dicksboro and Na Fianna B2. They were then well beaten by eventual Shield winners, James Stephens. They then found their stride and recorded good wins in their two final games vs Na Fianna B1 and Naas
