Under 12B's Play Round Towers (Clondalkin)

In Saturday's (March 13th 2010) Under 12 Hurling Division 3 Cup Group B encounter at Deerpark Kilmacud Crokes B had to give way to Round Towers. After fifteen minutes Crokes, playing against the breeze, trailed 1-2 to 0-0. Then a goal from Michael Mullin and a pointed free by Daithi Sultan closed the gap to the minimum. At half time the score was 1-2 to 1-1 to the visitors. Crokes defence played superbly with Oisin O'Siochru and Luke Shearer in fine form in front of a very solid James McDonald, following his switch to goal after ten minutes. In the half back line Cian Moriarty, Daithis Sultan and Kevin McCabe put up stout resistence. Midfielders Michael Mullin and Calum Rafftery were on top of their game. Throughout the game half forwards Ciaran Gorman, Evin Comerford and Michael Slattery tried energetically while the inside line of Sean O'Sullivan and Ronan Boyce were always threatening.
