Three championship winning teams feted, senior campaign gets off to a good start, under 12’s hit road to Belfast and club stalwart honoured – the principal features of a weather affected but still busy weekend. On top of this work continues apace on the Hurling Arena in Glanalbyn and Punchestown

Three Championship Titles
New Hurling Arena - First sod turned by hurling stars

Highlight of the weekend was the fantastic win for the under 16A’s in the Dublin County Championship Final over neighbours Ballyboden St Endas by 1-9 to 1-8. Crokes led by 1-6 to 0-3 at half time but Boden forced their way back into the game and were a point to the good with nine minutes to go.

Weekend 23-24 September
One trophy, one final and three semi-finals made. Not a bad outcome for one weekend.
