The Under-14B’s did themselves proud on Saturday 1st April with a well earned victory over St. Pat’s (Palmerstown) in difficult conditions at GlenaulinPark. Having won the toss, team captain Rory Gogarty elected to play with the strong wind.
On Sunday last, March 26th, Crokes senior hurlers had an encouraging 1 point victory against a strong Young Irelands (Gowran) team in an early season challenge game in Gowran.
The U 14A’s took on the U.14 O’ Loughlin Gaels’ team on a miserable afternoon in Kilkenny last Sunday 26th March. Crokes attacked from the start. Mark O’Dwyer opened the score with a goal from a free. He hit over another two nice points in the first half.
Crokes senior hurlers got the 2006 competitive season off to a winning start with a 4-10 to 0-9 victory over Ballyboden St Endas in Silverpark on Sunday 19th March 2006.
On the third coldest St. Patrick’s Day on record, there was nothing cold about this wholehearted display from Kilmacud Crokes Under-14A’s as they comprehensively overcame a Bray team, coached by Kilkenny’s John Henderson.

A cold sharp morning in the splendidly appointed McGrath Memorial Park, Bagnelstown (Muine Bheag), Co Carlow on 18th March 2006 saw a combined under 12 and under 11 Crokes team overcome our hosts Erin’s Own by a 5-4 to 2-3 margin.

On Sunday 12th March, a large party of Under-14’s travelled to Thurles to play Dúrlas Óg in two challenge matches. The first match saw Dúrlas Óg taking an early lead through a well taken point, which was followed by a goal from a penalty in the 7th minute.
