Ladies Football - News & Reports

What a fabulous day for the first GAA Green Club Gathering over in the West. Kilmacud Crokes are one of 40 GAA clubs participating in the first phase of pilot GAA Green Clubs Programme.

The 2007 U15 ladies football group has over 75 players split between three squads. It has been a great achievement of all the coaches involved with the group over the years that the numbers have grown from 48 registered players at u8 to the current number of 75 playing at u15.

Congrats to local school St Raphaelas Secondar

Well done to our own Kiera Brown and Deirdre Meagher who completed the Women in Leadership Programme which was run by DLR Sports Partnership. Congratulations.

Come along to this Wednesday’s March 16th Parish Night! It promises to be a great social event for adult club members, players and mentors from all sections. The night will be a big fundraiser towards the refurbishment of the Club gym.

Being ahead of the game, a group of our members celebrated International Women's day in the club on Friday March 4th. The event consisted of a mini sports tournament followed by an evening in Kilmac's bar.

Following on from his óráíd at Congress last weekend, Uachtarán CLG Larry McCarthy asks us to share the attached with your club coaches and mentors and for our clubs to be part of conversations that reinforce our values and the ethos of ‘Give Respect, Get Respect.
